Pickled cucumbers with cinnamon for the winter: an unusual recipe

Cucumbers are a very healthy vegetable, despite their simplicity - they contain a lot of vitamins and 92% water. These vegetables are a great snack option for those who are losing weight, and they can also be used to make smoothies, delicious light salads, and deliciously pickled for the winter.

Today, FoodOboz has prepared for you an unusual recipe for pickled cucumbers with cinnamon, which will be a delicious treat in winter.

Ingredients:

• cucumbers - 2 kg
• cinnamon - 1 stick
• water - 1-2 liters
• vinegar - 3 tbsp.
• garlic - 2-3 cloves.
• salt - 3 tbsp. l
• black currant leaves - 6 pcs.
• cherry leaves - 6 pcs.
• bay leaf - 1 pc.
• cloves - 2-3 buds per 1 jar
• dill - 1 pc. per jar

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the cucumbers with warm water, then cover them with water for 3-4 hours, and cut off the ends after the time has elapsed.
2. Sterilize small jars, and put all the spices except dill on the bottom.
3. Put the prepared cucumbers tightly on top, and place the dill umbrellas on top of the cucumbers.
4. Boil water well in a saucepan, dissolve the salt in it, and pour the cucumbers with the prepared brine.
5. Cover and leave for 10 minutes, then drain the brine from the jars.
6. Then boil it again and pour it back in, leave it for 10 minutes, and do this 2 more times.
7. Add the vinegar when you boil the brine for the last time, remove the brine from the heat, pour the vinegar, and add the cinnamon for 10 minutes to give off a good flavor.
8. Pour the brine into the jars, preserve the jars, or simply cover with nylon lids.
9. Store in a dark, cool place.
