  1. If mussels are in shells, they should be tightly closed
  2. To clean the product from the sand, you need to put the seafood in a saucepan, add a few tablespoons of cornmeal, and leave for an hour.
  3. Remove the antennae with pliers.
  4. Clean the shells well with a brush.

  • Aioli

Similar to garlic mayonnaise.

Put 3 cloves of garlic and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend for 2 seconds. Add the egg yolk (at room temperature), and juice of half a lemon and blend again. Add a glass of olive oil in a thin stream.

  • Beurre Blanc

Delicate creamy, with a pleasant sourness.

Heat a glass of dry white wine, half a glass of wine vinegar, and finely chopped shallots in a saucepan until the liquid boils. Boil for 10 minutes over low heat. Add 400 g of cold butter in portions and whisk the mixture with a whisk until the sauce thickens.

  • Mint and cucumber sauce

Fresh, light, and low-calorie.

Finely chop 15 grams of mint and 1 small cucumber. Mix with 150 grams of Greek yogurt and salt. Leave for 5 minutes for better flavor.

Ingredients:

  • mussels - 1 package
  • shrimps - 300 g
  • cream 30% - 500 ml
  • garlic - 8 cloves
  • Parmesan cheese - 100 g
  • salt, pepper, turmeric, Italian herbs - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Rinse the mussels several times and peel them if necessary.
  2. Combine shrimp and mussels in a baking dish.
  3. Add garlic, all spices, and Parmesan.
  4. Pour over the cream.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve with pasta or rice.
