Perfect apple pita bread dessert: step-by-step recipe from a food blogger
On cold autumn evenings, you always want to eat something sweet and homemade – cooked with love. But at the same time very simple. Pita bread comes to the rescue. After all, using this dough as a basis, you can make real culinary masterpieces in a minimum amount of time. This dessert will be especially tasty with seasonal fruit – apples.

Ingredients:
- pita bread - 2-3 sheets
- cottage cheese - 700 g
- apples - 6-7 pcs
- eggs - 2 pcs
- sugar - 300 g (100 g in the cottage cheese filling, 200 g in the apple filling
- lemon - 1 pc
- butter - 100 g
- honey - 2 tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the apples and cut into medium-sized cubes.
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter, honey, and sugar.
3. Boil for several minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.
4. Add the apples and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add a little cinnamon at the end of cooking.
6. Add sugar, eggs, and lemon zest to the cottage cheese.
7. Beat with a blender.
8. Spread the cheese filling on the pita bread, roll the pita bread into a roll, and cut it into small pieces.
9. Put in a baking dish and top with applesauce.
10. Place in a preheated 185-degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
