Pea soup that even children will enjoy: how to prepare
Peas are a product with a rather firm texture. Therefore, in order to make dishes with this ingredient tasty, you need to follow a special cooking technique. This is especially true for soup. Usually, if the peas in the soup are not cooked properly, children refuse to eat them.

Ingredients:
- peas - 200 g
- butter - 50 g
- onion - 1 pc
- carrots - 1 pc
- chicken thighs - 500 g
- salt - 2 tsp
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic - 2 cloves
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- water - 1.5 liters
- potatoes - 450 g
Method of preparation:
1. Cook everything in one pot. Soak the peas for 2 hours beforehand.
2. Sauté onions and carrots in oil for 5 minutes.
3. Put the sliced boneless chicken thighs and fry on both sides for 10 minutes.
4. Add peas and water and cook for 15 minutes.
5. Add the chopped potatoes and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
6. Check the peas for readiness.
7. Sprinkle with croutons before serving.
