One unexpected ingredient will change the taste of Vinaigrette beyond recognition: everyone should try it
For many years, Vinaigrette has been one of the favorite vegetable salads. Its main feature is that it does not have a generally accepted recipe, and you prepare everything to your own taste. Just don't forget about the beets, the main ingredient in the salad.
The recipe for Vinaigrette with anchovies was shared by chef Olena Yermolenko on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- beets - 4-5 pcs
- canned beans - 1 can
- onion - 1 pc
- sauerkraut - 200 g
- pickled cucumbers - 2 pcs
- potatoes - 5 pcs
- carrots - 2 pieces
- sea salt
- water
Method of preparation:
1. Mix water with salt.
2. Put the beets on a baking sheet and pour the resulting liquid over. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour.
3. Rinse the beans.
4. Steam the carrots and potatoes.
5. Chop the vegetables and season the salad to your liking.
In addition to the main ingredients, you can add herring or anchovies.
Earlier, the famous Ukrainian culinary reformer Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for an unusual Vinaigrette.
Ingredients:
- 400 g of potatoes
- 300 g of carrots
- 300 g of beets
- 200 g of green peas
- 200 g of pickled cucumbers
- 30 g of parsley
- 3 tbsp of sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp of wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Wash the vegetables and bake them until tender - potatoes and carrots for 40 minutes, and beets for 80 minutes.
3. Let the vegetables cool and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
4. Put the vegetables in a bowl, add the pickles, peas and chopped parsley.
5. To make the sauce, mix oil and vinegar with a whisk and add a pinch of salt.
6. Season the salad with the sauce.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
