Pie is a versatile dish that will always help you out because it can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You just need to choose a delicious filling and you're halfway there. In the fall, this dish is best prepared with seasonal vegetables, the most valuable being pumpkin, as well as fruits such as apples, pears, plums, quince, dogwood, and even sea buckthorn.
Actress and TV presenter Olha Sumska shared a recipe for a delicious, autumnally spicy, very aromatic, and satisfying pumpkin pie on Insta-Stories, which will be the best treat this fall.
Ingredients:
- pumpkin
- mushrooms
- onion
- eggs - 2-3 pcs.
- ready-made puff pastry - 2 sheets
- olive oil - 2-3 tbsp
- salt, pepper - to taste
- flour - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
- Cut the pumpkin into small cubes, the mushrooms into slices, and the onion into cubes.
- Heat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil, and fry it well until tender, do not forget to add salt and pepper.
- Beat eggs with salt and pour into the cold filling.
- Sprinkle the table with flour, put the dough out, and roll out two sheets well, one by one.
- Put one in a baking dish, put the prepared filling inside, and cover with the second sheet, brush the top with egg yolk, and put in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 180 C.
The cake will be delicious both warm and cold.
