Nutritionist named the perfect "snack": what foods to choose

A "snack" can be useful

In certain cases, a full meal can be replaced by a simple "snack", the products in which can also be quite useful.

Nutritionist Nataliia Dubovyk told OBOZREVATEL about this during an interview. "If you are running somewhere and need something to eat and gain energy, make a sandwich. If you don't have time, take nuts with you. You can have a piece of dark chocolate," she advised.

The doctor also explained how to reduce the desire to eat unhealthy foods, including sweets and pastries. "In order not to crave too many sweets, you need to control the nervous system and be sure to eat whole, high-quality foods," she emphasized.

In this context, she advised to give preference to products that have undergone minimal processing. In particular, farm products and those labeled "eco".

In particular, for a sandwich, you should take high-quality cheese or butter, as well as whole-grain gray or black bread or bread with bran. "It's great, it's very cool," she emphasized.

"When these foods are in our diet, such as farm chicken, duck, or veal, we will not have problems with the absorption of nutrients and the intestines," said Dubovyk.

At the same time, the doctor advised not to abuse "snacks" but to organize proper three meals a day. "Still, I advise not to use 'snacks', but just to sit down and eat well three times a day, to find time for this," she said.
