In the fall, we all feel the need for hearty food that will provide enough vitamins and energy. So don't give up breakfast, lunch, dinner, and don't forget about healthy snacks. In the fall, you should cook hearty meat dishes, always with seasonal vegetables, and don't give up fish and cereals.

Nutritionist Anna Nнkolska shared on Instagram what an autumn superfood should be like to make it really healthy and easy to prepare.

To begin with, it should be noted that superfoods can be absolutely familiar and simple foods that are always at hand, you don't have to look for chia, goji, and reishi.

Of course, each season has different superfoods, but it is absolutely necessary to have them in the fall:

1. Turmeric

This spice will give any anti-inflammatory agent a run for its money. It's worth noting that curcumin is enhanced several times if you mix it with black pepper. It is best to buy it in Indian stores, where this spice is truly natural.

You can add turmeric when frying in oil, to warm dishes such as cream soups, curries, and of course, make a latte with it, it will be amazing.

2. Beetroot

When fresh, this vegetable can become an "elixir of health". It has a very beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal tract. Besides, it's easy to prepare: you can boil or bake it in the oven, add cheese, nuts, and herbs, and enjoy a wonderful warm salad that won't put on weight, by the way.

3. Sauerkraut

This source of vitamin C and probiotics is one of the best foods for the immune system, and if you cook it properly – without sugar, salt, or vinegar – it will be very beneficial for the whole body.
