Not just porridge and soup: healthy pumpkin candies that even children can eat
In addition to everyone's favorite porridge or soup, pumpkin can be used to make healthy candies. We are talking about chocolate-covered pumpkin and date sweets. This homemade dessert is completely natural and sugar-free. And kids will not even realize what they are made of when they try them.
Food blogger Yulia Fedorenko with the nickname fedorenko_pp shared a recipe for healthy pumpkin candies without sugar on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pumpkin - 350 g
- dates - 100 g
- coconut flakes - 40 g
- chocolate - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the pumpkin, remove seeds, and cut it into small pieces. Bake in the oven until soft.
2. Remove date pits.
3. Beat pumpkin with dates in a blender until smooth.
4. Add the coconut flakes to the mixture and beat again until smooth.
5. Form small candies from the resulting mass. Put them in the refrigerator for a while to stabilize.
6. Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave.
7. Pour the melted chocolate over the candies and leave them to harden.
