Not just boiled: how to cook "wet" potatoes

These potatoes are called "wet" because they are stewed with a lot of other vegetables. They give off plenty of juice and a very pleasant spicy flavor. The dish is very satisfying.

The idea of cooking "wet" potatoes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname ann food. Chicken is the best choice of meat.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • sweet pepper - 1/2 pc.
  • potatoes - 6 pcs.
  • spices (salt, pepper, paprika, Provencal herbs) - to taste
  • dill, parsley - optional
  • water
  • tomato puree - 3-4 tbsp.
  • cream - 100 ml.

Method of preparation:

1. Put the fillet on a preheated frying pan.

2. Fry until golden brown.

3. Add the carrots and onions.

4. Simmer for a few minutes.

5. Add the chopped bell peppers and tomato sauce, cream and spices to taste.

6. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

7. Add the chopped new potatoes and cover with water to cover the potatoes.

8. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until tender over low heat.

9. Sprinkle with your favorite greens.
