Homemade dumplings can be made with different fillings and are simply lazy. But the most important thing is to make a good dough, which determines the taste and structure of the products.
The FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for a very successful dough for fluffy dumplings that is very quick to prepare.
To make the choux pastry elastic and tasty, add oil to the base!
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 250 ml of boiling water
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tbsp of oil
- stewed cabbage, minced meat, berries, fruit, cottage cheese for the filling
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour into a bowl, make a well and gradually pour in boiling water and salt, mix everything thoroughly. Then add vegetable oil and mix.
2. When the dough has cooled, put it on a work surface and start kneading for 5-7 minutes, then cover it with a bowl and leave it for 30 minutes.
3. Form the dumplings with any filling and cook the dumplings in boiling salted water for three minutes.
