No yeast and no baking: how to make delicious cottage cheese doughnuts
These doughnuts are a very simple and quick dessert to make in a hurry for tea. They are made based on a universal cottage cheese dough that does not require yeast. And the cottage cheese balls themselves are simply fried in a frying pan. By the way, they can also be made with a filling: jam, jam, chocolate, cream, or condensed milk. Or just serve them with powdered sugar.
Food blogger Ira (ira.shaf_cooking) shared a recipe for cottage cheese donuts in a frying pan on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- homemade cottage cheese – 500 g
- sugar – 150 g
- eggs – 4 pcs
- flour – 300 g
- baking soda – 0.5 tsp
- vinegar – 1 tsp
- vanilla
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs with sugar.
2. Add cottage cheese to the egg mass. Stir well.
3. Add baking soda slaked with vinegar. Mix well.
4. Add the sifted flour with baking powder, salt and vanilla. Knead a soft dough. It will stick a little to your hands.
5. Grease your hands with vegetable oil and form the doughnuts.
6. Fry the doughnuts in a frying pan with enough oil.
