No-bake Espresso chocolate cake: recipe for a quick dessert

It's hard to find time for baking on the eve of the holidays when various delicacies are being prepared at the same time. Thus, quick no-bake cakes and desserts are a great solution. That's exactly what the Espresso chocolate cake is - just the right amount of coffee, chocolate, and sweetness. Your guests will definitely appreciate it.

The recipe for the Espresso chocolate cake was shared by confectioner Oksana on Instagram.

Ingredients:

For the base:

  • almond flour - 2 tbsp
  • pitted dates - 2 cups
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp
  • honey - 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • espresso - 2 tbsp
  • black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
  • salt

For the top layer:

  • coconut oil - 50 g
  • cocoa - 4 tbsp
  • honey - 3 tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • espresso - 2-5 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Beat all the ingredients for the base in a blender or with a food processor. Put the resulting mass into a mold. Tamp it down and put it in the freezer.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the second layer. Beat all the necessary ingredients with a fork until smooth.

3. Pour the resulting chocolate mass into the mold. Put the cake in the freezer for at least 2 hours.

4. For decoration, you can use lavender or coarse salt.
