New liver salad with a secret: what to add for a better taste

Plain chicken liver is often used to make a very satisfying and festive salad. This meat goes well with a variety of ingredients: mushrooms, boiled eggs, and seasonal juicy tomatoes. It is especially tasty if you add your own pickled onions.

The idea of making a hearty liver salad with pickled onions was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname ann.food. The dish is simply seasoned with mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 200 g
  • medium onion - 1 pc.
  • mushrooms - 200 g
  • cherry - 200 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • oil for frying the liver
  • flour for frying the liver
  • mayonnaise - to taste
  • salt - to taste

Ingredients for the marinade:

  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • salt and sugar - 1/2 tsp each
  • water - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Marinate the onion and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Wash the liver, peel it and roll it in flour.

3. Fry in vegetable oil until tender.

4. Cut the mushrooms into large pieces and fry until the mushrooms are released.

5. Combine all the ingredients.

6. Season with mayonnaise and salt.
