Navy-style pasta with a secret ingredient: a new recipe for the dish
Navy-style pasta is a dish that never gets boring and is a great help when you have a minimal set of products at home. Traditionally, such pasta is cooked with minced meat and light vegetable frying. Very often, cinnamon is added for more piquancy and unusual flavor – the spice is simply fantastic in the dish and takes away the specific flavor of the minced meat.
Food blogger Mariia Mykhalchenko (smakoluk.ua) shared a recipe for navy-style pasta with minced meat and cinnamon on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- onion – 2 pcs.
- minced meat – 300-500 g
- pasta – 500 g
- cinnamon – 1 tsp.
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion. Fry until tender in a small amount of oil.
2. When the onion is ready, add the minced meat. Stir the mixture. Stew under the lid for 5-7 minutes, and then fry until the moisture has completely evaporated.
3. When the minced meat is ready, add salt, pepper and cinnamon. Fry for 2 minutes.
4. Simultaneously boil the pasta in salted water.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the minced meat and cook for a few more minutes.
