Mushroom soup with processed cheese: recipe for a popular dish
It is hard to imagine army cuisine without first courses. And this mushroom soup, prepared according to the best traditions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is no exception. It is prepared with rich chicken broth, which is successfully combined with vegetable and mushroom roast and processed cheese. The last ingredient gives the dish a special delicate and creamy flavor.
The recipe for the mushroom soup with processed cheese was shared by one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, Bohdan (bod3i7a), on his TikTok page.
Ingredients for a 12-liter cauldron:
- chicken + chicken thigh
- champignons
- onions
- carrots
- processed cheese
- salt, pepper
- bay leaves
- herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Cook the broth with chicken and chicken thigh, one onion and a few bay leaves. Remove the foam that forms.
2. Then chop the mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
3. Chop the onion and add to the mushrooms. Fry until the onions are soft.
4. Dice the carrots and add them to the mushrooms. Fry until the vegetables are tender.
5. Cut the processed cheese and add to the mushrooms. Fry until the ingredients are combined.
6. Then chop the potatoes and add them to the broth along with the mushrooms.
7. Disassemble the chicken into fibers and add to the broth. Put on the fire.
8. Add salt, pepper, and some herbs. Let the soup boil for a few minutes.
