Mousse dessert with peaches: how to create a masterpiece from simple ingredients

Mousse dessert with peaches is exactly the kind of dessert you want to eat in the summer. It is cool, refreshing, and incredibly tasty. It is easy to prepare and does not require any special skills.

Food blogger Anna Fil shared how to make a mousse dessert with peaches on Instagram. Just a few minutes and an incredible summer delight will be on your table.

Ingredients for the creamy mousse:

  • Gelatin – 15 gr
  • Water – 50 ml
  • Sour cream – 330 g
  • Powdered sugar – 60 g
  • Vanilla flavor – 2-3 drops

Ingredients for the jelly layer

  • Peach jelly – 1 pack
  • Water – 300 ml
  • Peaches

Method of preparation

1. Prepare the jelly layer. Pour gelatin with cold water, stir, and leave for 7-10 minutes to swell.

2. Meanwhile, add the powdered sugar and vanilla flavor to the sour cream and beat on medium speed.

3. Melt the swollen gelatin in the microwave with short pulses and add to the sour cream. Whisk thoroughly.

4. Put the mousse into the bowls and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until it is completely set.

5. Meanwhile, cut the peaches into thin slices. You can use canned peaches.

6. Put the sliced peaches on the frozen creamy mousse.

7. Pour peach jelly on top and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
