Minimal flour and oil: healthy potato pancakes without frying
Potato pancakes are one of the easiest potato dishes to make. To make them golden and not stiff, add a pinch of turmeric and do not overuse wheat flour. It is better to use whole wheat.
Nutritionist Olha Usenko shared a recipe for delicious potato pancakes, which are cooked in the oven instead of frying, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 500 g
- champignons - 3-4 pcs.
- whole wheat flour - 2 tbsp.
- salt, pepper - to taste
- oil - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the potatoes and mushrooms and mix everything well.
2. Be sure to squeeze out the excess liquid and add salt and pepper.
3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment, grease with vegetable oil and spoon the pancakes.
4. Bake the pancakes at 170-180°C for 15 minutes.
Serve with salmon, cheese and eggs.
