Mimosa salad in a new way: what to add for a bright flavor
One of the simplest and easiest salads to prepare is Mimosa, which is based on fish, vegetables and mayonnaise. However, you can prepare this dish in other ways, for example, by replacing regular potatoes with sweet potatoes, and mayonnaise with yogurt.
Cook Victoria (cook_with_me_at_home) shared a recipe for a delicious Mimosa salad with tuna, eggs, and carrots on Instagram.
Tip: use tuna instead of the usual canned fish!
Ingredients:
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- hard cheese - 60-70 g
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- potatoes - 2 pcs.
- tuna - 1 b.
- mayonnaise - 100 g
- Spices: salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil eggs, carrots, and potatoes. Cool and peel.
2. Put cling film on a work surface, spread the egg yolk grated on a fine grater evenly in a rectangle shape, and then mayonnaise on top. The second layer is grated hard cheese, mayonnaise again, then carrots, mayonnaise, potatoes, mayonnaise, and canned tuna without oil chopped with a fork.
3. Gently roll the salad, wrap it with another layer of cling film and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Unwrap the salad and cut it neatly into portions before serving!
