Ingredients:

  • red pepper – 4 pcs
  • rice – 1 cup

  • water – 1/2 cup
  • olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • onion – 100 g
  • mushrooms – 100 g
Mushrooms for the filling
  • zucchini – 1 pc
  • tomatoes – 1 pc
  • mozzarella cheese – 100 g
  • smoked bacon – 4 pcs
  • fresh basil – 1 tsp
Spices for cooking
  • dried oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese – 100 g
  • salt, pepper – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the rice until half cooked.

2. Peel the seeds from the peppers, cut off the tops, put them on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 180 C.

3. Chop the mushrooms, onion, zucchini, and tomatoes, and fry the zucchini and tomatoes until tender.

4. Add the vegetables to the rice and stir.

5. Fry the mushrooms and onions and transfer to the rice, mix well, then add the chopped basil, nuts, and mix.
