Meatless: juicy tuna cutlets, with vegetables and spices according to the recipe of Hector Jimenez-Bravo
Cutlets can be made not only from meat, but also from fish, canned fish, vegetables, cheese, rice, and liver. Cooks recommend adding fresh grated vegetables to the minced meat to make the cutlets juicy.
Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, hearty, and easy-to-prepare cutlets based on tuna and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients:
- Tuna - 1 b
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Zucchini - 1 pc.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Greens.
- Salt, pepper, spices
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Eggs - 2-3 pcs.
- Flour - 2-3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Put the tuna in a deep bowl and mash with a fork.
2. Grate the carrots and zucchini and add to the tuna. Dice the onion, chop the herbs and add them to the bowl. Add salt, pepper, spices and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
3. Finally, add the eggs and flour and mix again. Form patties with your hands.
4. Fry in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
