Meatballs can be a delicious and satisfying alternative to cutlets, for example. You can make them from different meats, and add tomato paste, spices, and garlic to spice them up.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious and hearty meatballs with tomato sauce and vegetables on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 500 gr. minced meat
- 1 onion, garlic
- 100 grams of boiled rice
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of starch
- flour
- spices: salt, pepper
For frying:
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp. spoons of sour cream
- 0.5 liters of hot water
- salt and pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Add chopped onion, garlic, boiled rice, egg, starch, spices to the minced meat and mix well.
2. Form the meatballs with wet hands and roll each one in flour.
3. Fry the carrots and onions in a hot frying pan in vegetable oil until soft. Add tomato sauce and sour cream.
4. Next, add the flour, mix quickly, and cover with hot water. Add spices, mix, and put the meatballs. After 10 minutes, turn to the other side and simmer for 20 minutes, covered.
Sprinkle the finished dish with herbs and serve!
