Mackerel on an onion pillow: Yevhen Klopotenko shares a gourmet recipe for a familiar dish
Mackerel is not only a very tasty and healthy fish, but it is also easy to prepare. It only takes 20 minutes and a minimum of the right ingredients to make a delicious dish.
Chef Yevhen Klopotenko on his website shared a recipe for delicious mackerel with onions and balsamic vinegar that will surprise you with its taste.
Ingredients:
- mackerel – 3 pcs.
- red onion – 6-8 pcs.
- garlic – 3 cloves.
- olive oil – 5 tbsp.
- wine vinegar – 6 tbsp
- salt and pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Gut the fish in advance so that there is nothing inside.
2. Peel and chop the onion, and fry it in olive oil for about 3 minutes until it is soft.
3. Then add wine vinegar and garlic, and evaporate the vinegar for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Put the cooked onions in a baking dish, put the fish on top, be sure to belly down, cover the dish with foil, and leave it for 40 minutes at 180°C.
The mackerel will be very juicy, tasty, and with a pleasant aroma.
