Lviv syrnyk is a traditional Ukrainian dessert that is often seen at family celebrations. The pastry tastes much better when you use homemade products. And to make the dish not too high in calories, flour and baking powder can be replaced.
The idea of making a fluffy Lviv syrnyk without flour, semolina, and baking powder is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maryna Frolova. Be sure to add dried fruit.
Ingredients:
- 9% cottage cheese - 700 g
- sugar - 6 tbsp
- a sachet of vanilla sugar
- sour cream - 60-70 g
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- corn starch - 25 g
- butter - 100 g
- dried fruits - to taste (50-100 g)
Method of preparation:
1. Add cottage cheese, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla sugar to a bowl.
2. Beat everything with an immersion blender.
3. Add eggs and starch and beat again.
4. Add melted butter.
5. Stir. You can also add dried fruit to taste.
6. Pour into a mold.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Check for readiness with a toothpick.
