Lush currant cake for children: what to make the dough
Currant cake is a delicious, soft, and flavorful dessert that the whole family will appreciate. It can be made from both fresh and frozen berries. The same goes for the dough: it can be made with sour cream, kefir, or yogurt.
The recipe for the currant muffin was published on one of the culinary blogs (moireceptuforeva) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- butter - 1/2 stick
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- sour cream - 1 cup
- flour - 1 cup
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- berries - 1 cup
Method of preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
2. Mix soft butter with sugar, salt and vanilla.
3. Add the eggs and mix. Also, add sour cream and baking soda.
4. Add the flour.
5. Wash and dry the berries beforehand. Add to the dough.
6. Pour the resulting dough into a mold covered with parchment.
7. Bake in the oven until golden brown.
