Recipe for buns with apples

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 500 g

  • sugar - 100 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.

  • pressed yeast - 15 g
  • drainage oil - 50 g

  • water - 2-3 tbsp. 

Filling:

  • apples - 400 g
  • sugar - 80 g

  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp.

  • butter - 30 g

Method of preparation:

1. Dough: to prepare the dough, pour milk into a bowl, add yeast and sugar, mix and leave for 15 minutes.

2. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs with sugar and salt, beat well with a whisk, and pour this mixture into the dough, mix well.

3. Pour the flour into the finished mixture, mixing well, and then knead the dough with your hands, add the butter at the end and transfer it to a bowl, cover with a towel, and leave for 1 hour.

4. Filling: dice the apples, melt the butter in a frying pan, add the apples, sugar, and lemon juice, and cook for 3-5 minutes to soften the apples. Then add cinnamon and stir.

5. Divide the finished dough into 12 pieces, roll out, put the filling, carefully gather the edges so that the filling does not fall out.

6. Place the buns on a baking sheet, leave for 15 minutes, and brush the top with a mixture of egg and milk.

7. Bake the buns for 25 minutes at 180 C.
