Low-fat crispy belyash pies: no need to fry
Traditional belyash pie is a rather fatty dish. Especially if you buy it at the market. But at home, you can make very fluffy, juicy, and dietary belyash pies. To do this, you need a few simple tips.
The idea of making low-fat belyash pies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia (nastia_mudraya). According to this technology, the filling is made from fairly dry minced chicken, and cottage cheese is added for juiciness. Most importantly, the products are baked in the oven.
Ingredients for 8 pcs:
- 0.2% cottage cheese - 180 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- flour - 100 g
- chicken fillet - 125 g
- onion - 40 g
- egg yolk - 1 pc
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the onion and fillet in a blender with salt and pepper.
2. Divide the minced meat into 8 equal parts.
3. For the dough, combine 1 egg, flour, cheese and salt.
4. Divide into 8 equal parts.
5. Knead each part of the dough into a circle, put the minced meat in the middle and roll up the edges of the dough to form a pie with a small hole in the middle.
6. Put them in a baking dish, brush with beaten egg yolks and bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
