Liver cake in a new way: what to add to the dish for a bright taste
Liver cake is one of the most delicious and satisfying appetizers, based on liver, flour, eggs, spices, and a delicious filling. But to give the dish a special flavor, add new ingredients to it, such as mushrooms, a different sauce instead of mayonnaise, and garlic for spice.

Ingredients:
- Chicken liver - 500 g
- Milk - 220 ml
- Flour - 130 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Pepper - a pinch
- Oil for frying
Filling:
- Onions - 2 pcs.
- Carrots - 2 pcs.
- Marinated mushrooms - 100-150 g
- Garlic - 1-2 cloves.
- Greens - a bunch
- Mayonnaise - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the liver, cut off the films, and put it in a bowl, add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper and beat everything with an immersion blender, you can simply pass the liver through a meat grinder.
2. Heat a frying pan, add a little oil, and fry the pancakes.
3. Filling: Peel the onions and carrots. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, dice the onion, and fry until golden brown.
4. Transfer to a bowl, chop the mushrooms, squeeze the garlic, chop the herbs, and mix everything, season with mayonnaise and mix again.
5. Assemble the cake and be sure to let it sit in the refrigerator for several hours.
