Leftover dough after dumplings: what to cook

If you have leftover dough after making dumplings, but no filling, you can make hearty snails. For the filling, minced meat will be perfect. And for juiciness you can add tomato paste.

The idea of making snails from the dough left after cooking dumplings was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olena Mazur(lenna_mazur).

Ingredients:

  • minced meat
  • green onion
  • sour cream
  • tomato paste
  • ketchup/sauce
  • salt, spices

Cooking method:

1. Prepare the usual dough for dumplings.

2. Roll out, smear with tomato sauce/ketchup and distribute stuffing (minced meat, green onions, salt and pepper).

3. Wrap in a roll and cut into slices.

4. Fry (not necessarily), place in a baking dish.

5. Prepare filling from water, sour cream, tomato paste + salt, spices to taste.

6. Pour the rolls and bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
