Lean dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms: the recipe for the most successful dough in boiling water

Dumplings are a dish that every Ukrainian loves and knows how to make. The dough can be made with milk, kefir, sour cream, or boiling water. Any product can be used for the filling.

The cook shared a recipe for delicious and successful lean dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms on Instagram.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. l. oil
  • 1 cup boiling water

Filling:

  • 0.5 kg of potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 300 g of champignons
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. Dough: mix flour and salt, add oil, mix and pour boiling water, knead the dough.

2. Boil the potatoes, fry the mushrooms and onions until golden brown. Mix the potatoes and mushrooms.

3. Form the dumplings, put the filling and pinch the edges.

4. Cook and serve with chopped greens.
