Lazy sushi cake or casserole for a snack and a festive table: cooked in the oven
Rice and crab sticks can be the basis for salads, as well as casseroles and pies with a sushi flavor. These dishes should be served cold, preferably with fresh cucumbers and soy sauce!
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and satisfying casserole that will taste like sushi.
Ingredients:
- crab sticks – 400 g
- cottage cheese – 50 g
- cream cheese – 150 g
- sweet chili sauce – 2 tbsp
- sushi rice – 1 cup (300 g)
- water – 1.25 cups
- rice vinegar – 3 tbsp
- sugar – 1 tsp
- salt – 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the rice well until the water is clear (2-3 times). Put it in a saucepan, cover it with water, and cook until it evaporates (10 minutes). Mix rice vinegar with salt and sugar, pour this dressing over the rice, stir, and let it cool completely.
2. Divide the crab sticks into fibers. Add cream cheese, and sweet chili sauce and mix.
3. Spread a layer of rice, level, then top with the crab layer and level.
4. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 180°C.
Serve with nori!
