Apple strudel

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry – 500 g

For the filling:

  • butter – 30 g
  • sugar – 50 g
  • apples – 3 pcs
  • starch – 15 g
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • egg yolks – 1 pc
  • sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation:

1. Melt the butter in a frying pan.

2. Peel and chop the apples. Add them along with sugar and lemon juice to the butter. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

3. Add cinnamon and starch. Simmer for another 3 minutes. Cool.

4. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Make cuts in each on both sides, put the filling in the middle, and roll it up.

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry – 450-500 g
  • pitted cherries – 300 g
  • sugar – 120 g
  • breadcrumbs – 80 g
  • butter – 50 g
  • walnuts – 150 g
  • eggs – 1 pc
  • corn starch – 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Roll out the dough thinly and brush it with melted butter.

2. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and, without reaching the sides, put the nuts on top. They can be fried in a dry frying pan beforehand.

3. Put the cherry on top and sprinkle with sugar. Wrap in a roll and use a fork to make several punctures.
