Lazy potato dumplings with gravy: a simple recipe for a hearty dish
The simplest dough dish is dumplings, namely lazy dumplings. They can be made sweet - with cottage cheese, berries, chocolate, or savory - with potatoes and onions.
Cook Svitlana shared a recipe for delicious lazy dumplings with potatoes, sour cream, processed cheese, and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 300 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - 250-300 g
- salt, pepper - to taste
Gravy:
- 15-20% cream - 100 g
- sour cream - 100 g
- processed cheese - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1 clove.
- onion - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, boil potatoes, grate them on a coarse grater, add eggs, salt, pepper, and gradually flour and knead. Make a sausage out of the dough and cut it into pieces.
2. Bring water to a boil and cook dumplings for 3-5 minutes.
3. Finely chop the onion, fry until golden brown, add cream, sour cream, cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic and stir to melt the cheese. Add to the cooked dumplings and stir.
4. Serve!
