Elementary pilaf with chicken

Traditional pilaf includes several types of meat, a large number of spices, and herbs. In the world's best restaurants, this dish is cooked in a special deep-bottomed cast iron pot. All this takes a lot of time. But you can quickly cook a delicious pilaf in an ordinary frying pan.

Today, the FoodOboz editorial team shares the idea of cooking lazy pilaf with chicken, which was posted by food blogger o.veronika_blog on her Instagram page.

Recipe for lazy pilaf with chicken

Ingredients:

  • rice – 1.5 cups
  • garlic – 5 cloves
  • onion – 1 pc
  • carrots – 1 pc
  • hot water – 3 cups
  • salt – 2.5 tsp
  • cardamom – 4-5 pieces
  • oil – 1 tbsp
  • dried barberry – 1 tsp
  • black pepper – a pinch
  • paprika – 1 pc

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces so it won't be dry.

  5. Stir the pilaf after all the moisture has evaporated and when the meat is fully cooked.
