Lazy pies with boiled eggs and herbs: how to make a simple dough
Pies can be made with a wide variety of fillings. In summer, onions and eggs are ideal. The dish is moderately fatty and very budget-friendly.
The idea of making hearty pies with eggs and green onions was published on the Smachno Ukraine Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 0.5 liters
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- boiled eggs for the filling - 3 pcs.
- onion - a bunch
- salt - a pinch
- baking powder - 1 sachet (12 g)
- flour - from 400 to 500 g
Method of preparation:
1. All products should be at room temperature, then the lazy pies will turn out to be lush and will not settle.
2. Mix the eggs with salt and beat lightly. Add kefir to the eggs and stir until smooth. Gradually add the flour.
3. The dough should be thicker than pancake dough so that the pies hold their shape.
4. Chop the green onions.
5. Chop the eggs finely.
6. Add everything to the dough and only then add the baking powder.
7. Mix the dough again.
8. Wait a few minutes.
9. Fry the pies.
