Lasagna is a delicious dish for a hearty lunch or dinner. It can be prepared according to a classic recipe – on dough with flour and eggs, which needs to be rolled out thinly. But to make the process faster and the taste no less flavorful, you should choose a different base for this culinary masterpiece.

Ingredients: ⠀

  • chicken fillet - 300 g ⠀
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrot - 1 pc.
  • tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
  • chicken broth - 2-3 tbsp.
  • cheese - 200 g (mozzarella/suluguni)
  • thin pita bread - 1 package (Armenian)

Method of preparation:

  1. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water.
  2. Let cool and blend with a blender. ⠀
  3. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a fine grater. ⠀
  4. Fry the vegetables in vegetable oil. Add the minced meat and broth. ⠀
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and add tomato paste.
  6. Leave to simmer under the lid for 5 minutes. ⠀
  7. Cut the pita bread according to the form in which the dish will be baked.
  8. Put a sheet of pita bread on the bottom.
  9. Spread with sour cream.
  10. Put the filling, and sprinkle with cheese.
  11. Put everything back in the same order.
  12. The last layer should be pita bread.
  13. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
