Lazy khachapuri with cheese and herbs in a pan: a simple recipe for a delicious dish

Khachapuri is a very tasty and satisfying traditional Georgian dish based on dough and a delicious filling of any cheese, meat, and greens. This dish can be easily cooked even in a frying pan, you just need to make a good dough.

Cook Kateryna Mull shared on Instagram a recipe for lazy khachapuri with herbs and cheese, which you can prepare in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • Kefir – 200 g
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Soda – 1/2  tsp.
  • Butter – 40 g
  • Suluguni cheese – 150 g
  • Dill – 50 g
  • Cheese – 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Dough: add flour, salt, sugar, baking soda to the kefir, mix everything and knead the dough and leave it in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.

2. Filling: grate cheese, chop herbs, mix everything, and add melted butter, mix.

3. Divide the dough into 5 pieces.

4. Then roll out the dough well, put the cheese inside, roll it into an envelope, and roll it on top.

5. Heat a frying pan and fry on both sides, then brush the finished khachapuri with butter.
