Lazy dumplings without cooking with delicious gravy: how to cook a familiar dish in a new way
Dumplings are a dish that almost everyone loves. They are very easy to prepare at home, you just need to make a good dough and a delicious filling. But this dish can also be prepared in a different way, adding, for example, new ingredients, sauces and spices.
Chef Svitlana (recepti_svitlana21) shared a recipe for delicious, lazy dumplings on Instagram, which are best served with gravy.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- flour - 400-500 g
- water - 250 ml
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt - 1/2 tsp.
Filling:
- any minced meat - 600 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper - to taste
For the gravy:
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- sour cream or curds - 200-300 g
- garlic - 1 clove
- greens - 20 g
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: add egg, salt to water and mix until smooth, gradually add flour and knead the dough, leave it to rise.
2. Filling: add finely chopped onion, salt, spices to the minced meat, mix well.
3. Gravy : grate the carrots on a fine grater and fry in vegetable oil until tender, then add herbs, salt, chopped garlic and sour cream, simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Divide the finished dough into 2 parts, roll out very thinly, put the filling and roll it into a roll, be sure to pinch the edges and cut into small pieces.
5. Put the dumplings in a frying pan, pour over the gravy, add a little water, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
