Lazy dumplings with pumpkin: a healthy breakfast in minutes
Cottage cheese and pumpkin are a delicious combination, especially in lazy dumplings. Pumpkin gives the dish a very pleasant orange color and a fresh aroma. In addition, its characteristic taste is almost unsurpassed. This is the perfect recipe if you want to cook lazy dumplings in a new way.
Food blogger Roksolana (roksolana.harasymiv) shared a recipe for lazy dumplings with pumpkin on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 100-120 g
- pumpkin puree - 60-70 g
- egg yolk - 1 pc.
- banana - 1/2 pcs.
- flour - 4-5 tbsp + for rolling
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Mix pumpkin puree with cottage cheese. Mash the mass with a fork to avoid lumps.
2. Next, add flour and knead the dough. It should not stick to your hands.
3. Shape the dough into balls (you can put a slice of banana inside if you like) and roll them in flour.
4. Boil the dumplings in boiling water until tender.
5. Chill the finished dumplings under cold water, brush with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds when serving.
