Lazy dumplings with cottage cheese in a new way: how to prepare a hearty breakfast dish

Lazy dumplings are a delicious and easy option for a quick breakfast. And if you're already bored with the classic recipe, you can cook the dish in a new way and make salty lazy dumplings with herbs. They are especially tasty when served with yogurt or sour cream.

Nutritionist Anna Kopus (ks_anyta) shared a recipe for salted lazy dumplings with herbs on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese – 400 g
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • salt – a pinch
  • flour from unpolished rice – 5 tbsp
  • herbs (dill in the recipe)

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the greens.

2. Mix all ingredients except flour and beat with an immersion blender.

3. Add the flour to the mixture. Mix with a spatula until smooth.

4. Form balls with wet hands.

5. Boil the dumplings in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
