Lazy dumplings with cottage cheese
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese - 500 g
- Sugar - 5 tbsp
- Flour - 1 tbsp
- Eggs - 2 pcs
- Butter - 50 g
- Sour cream, salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve or with a blender.
- Pour the melted butter into the cottage cheese, then add sugar, salt, and eggs.
- Add flour and knead the dough.
- Roll out the dough into a "sausage" shape and cut it into small pieces. Form them into balls.
- Cook the dumplings and serve them with sour cream, syrup, jam, or fruit.
Secrets of making lazy dumplings
- Choose only the "right" cottage cheese - slightly dry, but never sour. If the cottage cheese turns out to be moist, it is advisable to squeeze it out so that less flour is needed during the cooking process.
- Control the amount of flour. Regardless of the recipe, the amount of flour should always be controlled. You should add it gradually because if you overdo it, the dumplings will be hard to chew.
- Do not overcook. Just 1-2 minutes after boiling and the dumplings will be fully cooked.
