Lazy dumplings: if you're pressed for time, this recipe is for you
If you are short of time and there is only cottage cheese and yogurt in the fridge, then this recipe is for you.
Dip them not in flour, but in semolina - semolina swells during cooking, envelops the dough and makes lazy dumplings unusually tender.
A perfect delicious breakfast!
Ingredients:
- 300 gr cottage cheese (5% fat content)
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. flour (without a slide)
- 1 egg
- vanilla or vanilla sugar (optional)
50 gr semolina
50 gr yogurt
10 gr cane sugar (or honey)
1. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve.
2. Add egg, flour, salt.
3. Roll into small balls and roll in semolina.
4. Boil in salted water for 3-4 minutes. The balls should float.
5. Serve with yogurt or sour cream, sprinkle with sugar.
If desired, you can add berries.
