Lazy cottage cheese khachapuri in a pan: we share a recipe for a successful dough
Khachapuri is a traditional Georgian dish based on dough, which is often made with kefir, milk, and water. The filling for this dish usually depends on the type of khachapuri, but in the classic version, it is always eggs, cheese, and herbs.
Cook and food blogger Anastasia ( solopiika ) shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, lazy khachapuri in a pan, based on cottage cheese dough.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese 5-9% - 200 g
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- flour - 120 g
- baking soda - 3 g
- salt - a pinch
- hard cheese or parmesan - 50 g
- butter
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the cottage cheese with 1 egg, add salt, baking soda, and flour, mix and knead the dough.
2. Divide into 2 parts.
3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, sprinkle with flour, and form a "boat" with a hollow from each ball.
4. Grate the cheese and sprinkle with khachapuri, put in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 C.
5. Take out the finished khachapuri and add an egg to each one, put in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve the finished dish with butter and vegetables, it will be very tasty and satisfying.
