Lazy cabbage rolls: you do not have to steam anything
Cooking traditional cabbage rolls is a rather lengthy process. In addition to the meat filling, you need to prepare steamed cabbage leaves for the dish. If you want to do everything much faster and get a hearty dish, use the following technique.
The idea of making simple lazy cabbage rolls that don't require steaming was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname danilchenko_77. The tomato sauce will add a special flavor.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 600 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot 1 pc.
- cabbage - 1/2 head
- salt and spices
- boiled rice - 1 cup
Ingredients for the sauce:
- tomato paste - 2 tbsp.
- sour cream - 2 tbsp
- flour - 1 tbsp
- water - 200 ml.
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the vegetables and fry in vegetable oil until transparent.
2. Boil rice until half cooked.
3. Add the vegetables, rice, and spices to the minced meat.
4. Mix everything well.
5. Form rolls and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment and greased with oil.
6. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients and pour over the cabbage rolls.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
