Ingredients:
- small Chinese cabbage – 1 pc.
- boiling water – 300 ml
- minced beef – 800 g
- bulgur – 100 g
- onion – 100 g
- carrots – 100 g
- tomato paste – 50 g
- dry garlic – 1/2 tsp
- salt, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
- Pour boiling water over the cabbage and leave for 3 minutes.
- Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, and add bulgur and grated onion and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and let stand for a few minutes.
- Grate the carrots and fry until golden brown and soft.
- Add the tomato paste and a little boiling water to the carrots, stir, and simmer for a while.
- Wrap the prepared stuffing in cabbage leaves, form cabbage rolls, and transfer to the prepared carrot sauce.
- Cook under a lid over medium heat for about 20-25 minutes.
Serve the cabbage rolls hot and with sour cream.
