Lazy cabbage rolls in a hurry: what kind of minced meat to cook with
Traditional cabbage rolls take a long time to prepare, as cabbage needs to be scalded, minced meat wrapped in it, and then stewed for over an hour. Therefore, for those housewives who want to feed their family a hearty meat dish quickly and without fuss, there is a great alternative – lazy cabbage rolls.
The idea of making lazy minced meat stuffed cabbage rolls was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Diana (di_licious_me). According to this recipe, the cabbage rolls are made from ground beef and are very juicy and satisfying.
Ingredients:
- minced veal – 600 g
- a small head of cabbage – 1/2
- carrots – 1 pc
- onion – 1 pc
- tomato paste – 1 tbsp
- tomato juice – 100 ml
- cream 15% – 50 ml
- soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- salt, pepper, dry garlic
Method of preparation:
1. Simmer the cabbage over medium heat for 30 minutes with the addition of water.
2. Fry the carrots and onions separately.
3. Grind the vegetables a little in a blender.
4. Add the minced meat, soy sauce, a little salt, and pepper to the vegetables. Mix well.
5. Form meatballs and fry until golden brown.
6. For the sauce, mix the tomato paste, juice and cream, salt, pepper, and dry garlic.
7. Pour the meatballs and simmer in the sauce.
