Lazy cabbage rolls from young cabbage: which cereal is better to add

Lazy cabbage rolls are much easier to prepare than classic cabbage rolls. You don't have to wrap the minced meat in cabbage for a long time and then simmer it for several hours. You just need to combine the meat and vegetables, form the patties and bake them.

The idea of making juicy lazy cabbage rolls from young cabbage was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yuliia Masiuk. It will also be very healthy.

Ingredients:

  • minced meat - 800 g
  • dry rice - 150 g
  • young cabbage - half a head of cabbage
  • onion - 1 pc
  • carrot - 1 pc
  • tomato paste - 3 tbsp
  • sour cream - 500 g
  • salt, spices
  • oil for frying
  • water - 0.5 liters.

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the onion and carrots in a frying pan until soft, then add the shredded cabbage.

2. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

3. In a bowl, mix the minced meat, pre-boiled rice and vegetables.

4. Add salt and spices: black pepper, paprika and dry garlic.

5. Knead and shape the cabbage rolls, place on a baking sheet.

6. For the filling, mix the tomato paste, sour cream, spices and water.

7. Stir and pour over the cabbage rolls.

8. Put in the oven for 40-50 minutes.
