Pancakes are one of the best options for dessert and a sweet snack. They are prepared mainly with kefir, sour cream or milk, less often - with water and yeast, also apples or bananas are added to the dough.

Food blogger Oksana Dorosh (oksana_dorosh_rezeptu) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for pancakes with apples and raisins on water and yeast, which can be eaten in Lent.

Ingredients:

  • warm water - 500 ml
  • dry yeast - 5 g/fresh yeast - 15 g
  • sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 550-600 g
  • raisins
  • apple

Method of preparation:

1. Dissolve yeast in warm water, add sugar. Leave for 10-15 minutes.

2. After that, pour flour and salt into the mass, mix until homogeneous. 3.

3. Soak the raisins in hot water, chop the apple. Add to the dough and mix. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave for 40 minutes.

4. Heat a frying pan, soak a spoon in water and carefully spread the batter. Fry the fritters in this way. The dough should never be stirred, because you will break the structure.
