Oliver showed how to make a "folded" omelet, which he calls a classic. It's a pancake made of eggs folded in half and filled with a filling to taste. To make this dish perfect, you need to achieve the right consistency of fried eggs.
First, Jamie decided to make a filling for the omelet from mushrooms and onions. He simply fried them in a pan and added thyme, garlic, and a little lemon juice. He put the finished filling on a napkin to absorb the remaining oil.
To make the egg pancake itself, Oliver took three eggs, added a little salt, and beat them thoroughly with a fork. He poured the mixture onto a cold frying pan and began to spread it evenly over the entire surface. Then he turned on the heat and used a spatula to move the beaten eggs around so that they were fried evenly.
The next step is to flip the pancake over and add the filling. It should be placed on one half of the pancake only. Cover the filling with the free part and press lightly. After a minute, turn it over to the other side and serve it to the table. By following these tips, your omelet will always turn out perfect.
