Juicy meat medallions with pineapple and cheese
Meat medallions are an eternal classic that never gets boring. People have learned to prepare them in a variety of ways, changing and combining ingredients. But pineapple and cheese medallions remain the most favorite. They are juicy, with light sweet and sour notes and a viscous cheese crust.
The recipe for meat medallions with pineapple and cheese was shared by food blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti) on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 1 kg
- onion - 200 g
- eggs - 1 pc
- hard cheese - 200 g
- mayonnaise - 100 g
- canned pineapples
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Add onion, egg, salt, pepper, and 50 g of mayonnaise to the minced meat. Mix well.
2. Form round medallions. The size should be slightly larger than a pineapple ring.
3. Put the medallions on a baking sheet and top each with a pineapple ring. Pour mayonnaise into the pineapple holes.
4. Bake at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
5. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
